About

Foam is an important show effect in film, theatre and party sectors.
Originated by the creative promoters of Ibiza in the early 90s, the idea of foam parties was picked up by European discotheque managers and promoters. In the late 90s the foam wave spread rapidly throughout the world , all nations and cultures wanted to have the craziest event...... "The Foam Party". Fuzzy (director) was involved with the original foam machines in South Africa back in 1998 when the craze hit South Africa , travelling throughout the country from city to city as the craze grew bigger and bigger. No one could beleive how crazy the concept was , but they loved it so much they would always come back for more .The trend got so big that they were even used for theatre, TV and film applications. The X-treme foam party crew foam generators are frequently used due to its simple, fast and secure handling. All foam generators comply with CE regulations. Motor, ventilators are from the UK and the pumps from Italy. We also have the "big guns" MBN foam generators which are fully manufactured in Germany by one of the worldwide leaders in foam machine manufacturers. X-treme foam parties took the whole concept of foam parties and brought it into the private sector. They developed the foam pits therefore making a house party possible. X-treme foam parties are one of the very few suppliers of foam parties that can offer you small mini foam machines right up to the gigantic foam generators as well as the foam pits. The matching-effect fluid for foam parties was developed by local laboratories and is bio-degradable, non toxic and has been dermatologically tested.

Operation principle:
The mix of water and foam is transported through a pump from the tank to the foam generator. Here the fluid is sprayed through a fine nozzle on the foam net and converted to foam by air pressure from the fan.

Foam parties are the best thing since man kind walked on the moon!
Although the idea of dancing away and having thousands of lires of foam sprayed and poured all over you until you are covered may sound a little extraordinary and messy but the reality is that it is the greatest and most enjoyable thing to add to a corporate/private party or disco! The foam Pit (almost like a jumping castle) is an inflated pool with an area of 6m x 6m or 5 x 5 metre that is filled with foam. What makes this a great activity is that it can happen anywhere, at any time – birthday parties , High School functions, Beach Parties, Corporate team building Events, Summer Picnics or for simply having fun! Set it up inside or outside, add some music, let the good times roll and have an unforgettable party.
What is a FOAM PARTY?

You might think foam is made from water and soap, so I am going to get all cold and wet and sticky. Not so, although your clothes will get damp you will not feel cold when you are in the foam, it will keep you warm.

Normally at a Foam Party the foam will not start for a few hours to let everyone get in party mood. Then the foam machine or foam cannons are turned on covering everyone with foam and filling the dance area to about 1.2 metres deep. the foam cannons usually spray a thick jet of foam upto 8m into the dance area, they are moved side to side to cover everyone. A foam machine will pour masses of foam down onto the dance floor or in the foam pit, it may move along slowly.

After the foam level has dropped more foam will be added covering everyone up again. This may happen several times depending on how quick the foam goes down. Towards the end of the party as the foam level drops to about 20cm or so some people will spend time rolling around on the floor. In the cas of the foam pit the participants will have a great time slipping and sliding across the foam pit from cushioned wall to wall

The foam will vary from party to party, some will have quite light and fluffy foam while others will be thicker and some will be very thick. The thicker foams will cling to you more and will probably last longer.

The most important thing about foam parties is that everyone who goes to one has loads of fun and enjoys the experience, however crazy it sounds! If you haven't tried it at least once you haven't lived and should find the nearest one to you and get in there and have fun.

What to wear
Obviously you don't wear you very best clothes, they won't be ruined but you may get some water marks on some materials. Be prepared , if you are expecting to go to a foam party take your costume and if possible bring along a pair of eye goggles. Extra clothing is always a good idea and also please dont forget your towel.
